With the implementation of EVAT and the continued rise of oil prices in the international market, motorists continue to find ways to save on fuel expense, either by using their car less or making their car more efficient.

Magtune Evolution is basically a super magnet developed by Japanese technology purposely to improve fuel combustion for a smoother and economical drive. *Octane number decreases with increasing chain length or ring size of hydrocarbons but increases with chain branching.* Applying this principle, Magtune uses Neodymium super magnet to enhance hydrocarbon branching and to increase octane number which will result to a more efficient fuel combustion and reduced knock. *Octane rating of hydrocarbons is determined by the structure of the molecule.* Long and straight hydrocarbon chains produce large amounts of easily auto-ignitable pre-flame decomposition species. If these molecules auto-ignite, optimal power of combustion is not achieved. Magtune produces branched and aromatic hydrocarbons which are more resistant.

An independent test conducted by Coolmate Corporation, exclusive distributor of Magtune in the Philippines, showed as much as 8% reduction in fuel consumption. Magtune Evolution, Japan's most popular fuel saving device, is produced by Comtec Co. Ltd. of Japan. Tests conducted by Comtec increased fuel efficiency by as much as 20%. According to Comtec, results may vary depending on vehicle and driving conditions.
